LEARNING OPTIONS
Our TAFE courses allow you to study full or part-time, with flexible options available for some subjects.
Practical learning is facilitated through a variety of means, from classroom activities to guest speakers. It is our aim to make your learning experience relevant, challenging and exciting.
When our students graduate, they leave Kangan Institute with the necessary skills and knowledge to take them straight into the workplace. We understand that some of our students wish to go further to Higher Education, so we’ve partnered with some of the leading Universities in Australia, such as La Trobe University and Deakin University to offer guaranteed pathways.
COURSES WE OFFER
JUSTICE >
A career in the justice system provides a diverse range of career opportunities such as Court Registrar, State or Federal Police, Customs, youth justice or Corrections Officer just to name a few.
*This course is part of the Government's Free TAFE and JobTrainer initiative.
LEGAL>
This course will provide you with the necessary skills to work in a range of legal service setting. Employment opportunities can include legal assistant, assistant paralegal, legal secretary, legal receptionist, and legal support officer.
SECURITY>
Take on a variety of a roles with a qualification in security, such as Shopping Centre Security Attendant, Construction/Industrial Site Security Officer, Armed Guard or Bodyguard.
WORK HEALTH & SAFETY >
If you are passionate about improving safety in the workplace to prevent illness and injury in your organisation and looking to make a career for yourself as an OHS officer or inspector, then look no further
